Dear Convent Listkeeper- Re: Your questionaire - as requested: Name - Marianna Arvay (no nickname, never had one, as a matter of fact) Convent Title - Sister Aphrodesia (I think) Marital Status and Age - Blissfully single - and as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth (at least most of them) Hobbies - Playing (if you can call it that)the piano; exploring (tentatively) the Internet; anything related to or involving good looking, talented male actors who fence, especially a certain blond, blue eyed fellow currently involved in boat building; Science Fiction /Adult Fantasy books, films and television shows; jewelry making and wearing; fencing, ballet, martial arts and ice dancing (all as a spectator, altho I would like to take some fencing classes);and most of all, spending lots of quality time with my cat, Sasha, who is, in my opinion, the most adorable creature in the universe (at least in the furry, four pawed category). Affiliations - Besides the FkN and BH lists I'm a member of the GWD Fan Club, Peace (the Adrian Paul Fan Club), The Carousels and Caverns Community of Southern California (local Beauty and the Beast fan organization) and used to be a member - before they disbanded - of the Bruce Abbot Fan Association and the Friends of Darkover (fans of Marion Zimmer Bradley's books, especially the Darkover series). I also used to in both the Canadian and the Boston, Mass. based Forever Knight clubs, but it was very difficult to get in touch or keep in touch with them and I haven't heard from them in ages, so I guess they aren't very active anymore. What's a URL? What makes me happy?--- The company of good friends, playing with Sasha, seeing a good film or reading a good book, spending time in the company of wonderful paintings and sculptures (an afternoon in an art museum is my idea of heaven), being in love, and two scoops of either Cherry Garcia or Jamocha Almond Fudge ice cream. Mottos or Mantras - I actually collect quotes - I write down the ones I find in books or wherever and put them up on my kitchen cabinet doors and on a bulletin board so I can read them easily. One of my favorites is from that great American philospher, Minnie Pearl, who said "If you can't beat 'em - confuse 'em". Marianna
