Hi all fellow DSS members:

This post is to give Moni the info she has 
requested of us all...ie. to tell a bit about 
ourselves.  So here goes:

Name: Joni Goad

Nickname: Blu
 
Convent title:  Sister Indulgencia

Married 22 years to Ron.  Have one adopted son, 
Justin, 21 and finally out on his own (gosh, I'm 
Proud!)

I live in the St. Louis metro area.  (thats 
central time zone)  I used to live in New Mexico 
where we bred and raised appaloosa horses and had 
foster children.  Now I'm just tired. <g>  I'm a 
costume designer...mostly corporate mascots (like 
Eveready Bunny).

I guess my hobbies are mostly hanging out on the 
computer, beta reading, irc, ( hm... I know I 
used to do other things... before I got hooked on 
FK and the lists.... just can't remember what!)

Affiliated with: N&N Pack, DK (but really only 
cause I'm afraid to unsub. <EG>) and soon to be 
an NA  (thats what comes from Beta reading for 
Bonnie Rutledge...one of the affiliation's 
co-founders)

What makes me happy...good question.  First I'd 
say that only *I* can make me truly happy, 
because I choose to be that way or not.  The 
parts of my life that I am the happiest about 
are: My family, Ron's a great guy, loves me 
unconditionally.  My son, who is finally bringing 
home girls I like for a change.  My two Russian 
Blue cats, Blusette (thats right, I stole her 
name!) and Logan, my 28 lb. big boy cat. To see a 
costume project finished and looking the way I 
want it to always makes me happy.  My bestest 
friend...ever, David, who we all know and who I 
talk about way too much, makes me very happy. (we 
*have* to be soul mates...no two people so 
different could have clicked so completely 
otherwise)

Something that a very wise person said to me many 
years ago has become real important to me, 
especially raising a son and having all the 
foster children we had through the years.  He 
said, "  'Love' will *always* wait to give what 
'Lust' can *never* wait to get."  (Good motto in 
these sexually scary times, eh?)

So thats a bit about me, and Moni couldn't have 
picked a better Convent name for me...I *am* an 
indulgent person...in the way of being giving and 
open and Hugs....lots and lots of hugs!!!
